Specifications & Craftsmanship
Built to Last
At Sky Fans®, every detail is considered. Our ceiling fans are crafted using high-quality materials and time-honoured techniques to ensure durability, performance and a refined finish.
The paddles are made from imported, multi-layered hardwood (up to 7-ply), selected for strength and stability. Motor covers are crafted from solid African hardwood, precision cut for a seamless fit and enhanced cooling, then hand-turned by our timber specialist to achieve a smooth, balanced form.
Designed for quiet performance, each fan operates with minimal noise on lower
speeds. The motor casing is made from aluminium, ensuring it will not rust over time.
Control & Installation
Each Original Paddle Fan® is supplied with a flush-mounted wall controller, housed behind a white Legrand Arteor faceplate. A remote control is available as an optional extra.
A 230mm down rod is included as standard, suitable for ceiling heights up to 2.7m. Extended rods are available for higher ceilings, up to 8m.
All fans are rated for use in dry indoor environments.
Installation Guidance
For the best result, installation should take place once all building work is complete.
While wiring and controllers can be installed earlier, the fan itself should only be fitted once the space is free of dust, painting is complete, and no further construction activity is taking place.
If you’re unsure about sizing or installation requirements, our team is happy to advise.
